Gig on the 4th.

I've recently finished my latest song, not sure of a name yet. I wrote it about this busker who I saw on Grafton Street who was homeless. I really enjoyed writing this, was quite odd how the song talks about alcohol addiction and going on stage, and then Amy Winehouse died this week which links into the song really well.

I went to see James Vincent McMorrow last week in Marley Park, Dublin. He is such a great lyricist, and has given me some inspiration towards my next song that I plan on writing soon as well.

Been practicing a few nights a week after work with Mitch my drummer, getting ready for my first 'Alex Andrew' gig. ( On in The Pint on the Quays in Dublin City Centre, 4th of August, )Were playing a whole pile of covers that will be a bit different which will be fun.. :) And then will play my latest song ( no name yet ). Carla who plays violin amazingly isn't able to make this gig sadly, so it's just going to be vocals, keys and drum kit.
The charity gig is helping fund my a bunch of teens off to Spain on world youth day, which I'm not too sure about the exact details but I'm pretty sure they help people and stuff from all around the world.

Also wondering what I should cover next..
